Celani Family Vineyards (pronounced ‘Chelani’) was founded in 2005 by owners Tom and Vicki Celani. They purchased an established property with vineyards and winery. The property is not your typical Napa vineyard – there is no Cabernet Sauvignon on site. The vineyard originally included roughly 10 acres of Merlot and 6 acres of Chardonnay. With a bit of modernization and addition of new equipment, the winery was fully functional for their first harvest in 2005. Only one wine was made then, their flagship Cabernet Sauvignon (Ardore). In 2006, they introduced 4 other wines, all of which are produced each vintage, these are the wines that are on the Tasting Bar today. All of their wines are unfiltered.

- 2014 Chardonnay: This Chardonnay from Hudson Ranch, Napa Valley is fresh, lively, and fruit forward wine with notes of orange blossom, crisp apple skin, and touches of oak and honeysuckle. Drink over the next 2-3 years. Pair with fish cakes or pumpkin ravioli for a true fall feast. Only 375 cases produced.
- 2014 Siglo: This 100% Merlot is a powerhouse! Aged for 10 months in French oak barrels, only 2,120 cases were produced. The wine is dark, deep purple with penetrating aromas of ripe exotic berries, dusty plums, and graphite. Flavors are a burst of the same with hints of mocha.
- 2013 Tenacious: This blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc was barrel-aged for 22 months in 70% new French oak barrels. Earthy black raspberries, black currants, crushed violets, tobacco leaf, dusty plums give way to nuances of tea, dried orange peel, black cherry, and mocha.
- 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon: This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is aged for 20 months in new French oak barrels. This is an intense and richly layered wine, full of roasted blackberry, fresh blackcurrant, plum, fig, blueberry, and cream notes followed by hints of cola, licorice, and dried orange rind. Currently, it is youthful and showing off its fruity, plush side but will drink well over the next 20 years.
