BadWolf Brewing Company has been around for just over five years, and the founders, Jeremy and Sarah Meyes are Northern Virginia natives that are passionate about craft beer and want to share that passion with everyone that tries their beer. They make wonderful unfiltered and unpasteurized beer using all natural ingredients at two locations in Manassas. Their original location has always been dedicated to experimental beers but they have recently been working to convert it into a full sour and mixed fermentation facility. Their second and larger location is their production brewery that focuses on their beers for distribution into the local market. Today, we are showing some of their sour beers from the newly converted facility and a great barrel aged porter!

The Beers:

  • I’m Leaving You For Brett: A Gin-barrel aged, brett-fermented sour saison that is a light golden color with fruity classic brett notes. Less than 500 bottles are available, taste it today and grab one while they last! 9.5% ABV
  • Old Fashioned: A sour amber ale that was aged in Bare Knuckle Wheat Whisky barrels from KO Distilling with the addition of both tart cherry puree and bitter orange peel. Designed to mimic the cocktail, this beer is a truly unique expression of local flair. 7% ABV
  • Radegast Porter: A full-bodied porter aged in A. Smith Bowmen bourbon barrels with 1.5lbs of vanilla beans per batch, this is a beer to settle into the couch with a fire in the fireplace! Come and grab one before they all disappear into people’s Christmas stockings … 7% ABVbadwolf
